“I AM CERTAIN………”

 

At a time of sorrow and the loss of someone we have known and loved over many years, it is difficult to be certain about anything.

But we can be certain of God. And he has promised that he will always care for his world and its     people. That includes you!

As long as the world exists, there will be a time for planting and a time for harvest. There will always be cold and heat,  summer and winter, day and night.        Genesis 8:22

Paul, who many times faced the threat of death can say:  …….I am certain that nothing can        separate us from his love: neither angels nor other heavenly rulers or powers, neither the  present nor the future, neither the world above nor the world below—there is nothing in all creation that will ever be able to separate us from the love of God which is ours through Christ Jesus our Lord.  

Romans 8:38-39

 

 

 

 

 

GOD'S PEACE FOR US

 

 He wants to reassure us that He

 does love and care for us.

 

Let us give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! Because of his great mercy he gave us new life by raising Jesus Christ from death. This fills us with a living hope, and so we look forward to possessing the rich blessings that God keeps for his people.    

 

Be glad about this, even though it may now be necessary for you to be sad for a while because of the many kinds of trials you    suffer. Their purpose is to prove that your faith is genuine. Even gold, which can be destroyed, is tested by fire; and so your faith, which is much more precious than gold, must also be tested, so that it may   endure. Then you will receive praise and  glory and honour on the Day when Jesus Christ is  revealed.
